Formerly known as Helm Proman Methanol, Valenz brings together the strengths and international marketing networks of its founding partners to create a global leader in the methanol marketing industry.

Helm Proman Methanol was formed in 2018 as a global joint venture between industry leaders and long-term partners HELM AG, Proman AG and Southern Chemical Corporation. In 2023, in response to the strong rise in demand for methanol and its growing potential as a cleaner fuel in a lower-emission world, Helm Proman Methanol became Valenz.
